Luxury car maker Bentley hooked up with a trailer maker from North Wales when it needed to transport a superstar of vintage racing in style. A recent statistical analysis has identified the fastest cars driven by James Bond, with the 2007 Aston Martin DBS V12 taking the top spot as the most rapid. Conducted by lifestyle magazine Dailybase, the research assessed top speeds and acceleration times (0-100 km/h) to generate a speed score out of 100. InstaVolt, the UK’s largest EV rapid charging network is introducing off-peak pricing, to encourage motorists to take advantage of cheaper electricity in Bridgend. From Sunday 1st September, drivers will be able to charge for 54p per kWh, between the hours of 10pm and 6am across InstaVolt’s network of more than 1,600 rapid chargers – more than a third off the regular price of 85p per kWh.
