BMW has unveiled the first-ever M3 CS Touring, combining blistering performance with the practicality of an estate. Expanding the revered M3 CS lineage, this latest iteration delivers more power, enhanced dynamics, and track-ready capability while maintaining everyday usability.
A More Potent Powertrain
Under the bonnet, the 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six has been tuned to produce an exhilarating 550hp – an increase of 40hp over the standard M3 Competition Touring. Torque remains at a formidable 650Nm, ensuring explosive acceleration. Mated to an M xDrive all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, the M3 CS Touring sprints from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds.
Lightweight Engineering
BMW M has focused on reducing weight through extensive use of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP). The bonnet, roof, front splitter, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and interior trim all feature CFRP components, shedding unnecessary kilos and lowering the car’s centre of gravity for enhanced handling.
Aggressive Design & Aerodynamics
The M3 CS Touring boasts a bespoke front grille, distinctive yellow LED daytime running lights, and wider air intakes for improved cooling. At the rear, a sports exhaust system with quad-exit tailpipes ensures an unmistakable M soundtrack. The Frozen Solid White launch colour, complemented by M-specific graphics, enhances the Touring’s aggressive stance.
Motorsport-Inspired Interior
Inside, the M3 CS Touring delivers a driver-focused cockpit with M Carbon bucket seats, a unique CS badge on the dashboard, and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel. The BMW Curved Display, powered by iDrive 8, provides a seamless digital experience, including M-specific drive modes and telemetry data for those who want to push their car to the limits.
Track-Ready Yet Practical
Despite its track-oriented enhancements, the M3 CS Touring remains a practical daily driver. With a 500-litre boot, spacious rear seats, and the flexibility of an estate, it offers supercar-rivalling performance with room for the family and luggage.
Limited Production & Pricing
As a limited-production model, the BMW M3 CS Touring is expected to be highly sought after by enthusiasts. While official UK pricing has yet to be confirmed, it will likely command a premium over the standard M3 Competition Touring.
The M3 CS Touring isn’t just another fast estate—it’s a statement. Whether tearing up the track or tackling the school run, BMW M has delivered an uncompromising performance machine with everyday usability.
