Vauxhall has unveiled pricing and specifications for New Mokka, with a new pricing structure that includes significant savings on electric versions as well a larger 54kWh battery and more powerful 156PS electric motor. This unconventional compact SUV comes in three trim levels – Design, GS, and Ultimate – with first deliveries expected in January 2025.
With a revised pricing structure, Vauxhall has introduced significant savings across most of the New Mokka line-up. The Mokka Electric now offers savings of up to £4,640, making electric mobility more accessible to all, while Hybrid models see reductions of up to £3,250. Additionally, the New Mokka Electric is now available exclusively with the 54kWh battery and enhanced 156PS electric motor for an upgraded driving experience at a more affordable price.
The New Mokka Hybrid comes with 48-volt technology, combining a 136PS 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor and electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
James Taylor, Managing Director, Vauxhall, said: “The New Mokka has been subtly refreshed, while maintaining the distinctive Mokka feel. The new pricing structure, aligned with the recent price reductions for Corsa Electric and Astra Electric, now makes the Mokka Electric more affordable than ever for customers, supporting our commitment to making going electric more attainable for all.”
Design
Vauxhall has purposefully not completely overhauled the Mokka’s appearance but rather subtly emphasised its visual strengths. The black Vizor, first introduced on the Mokka and now present on every model in Vauxhall’s line-up, integrates the headlights and Griffin into one element. As on the new Vauxhall Frontera, the familiar wing signature of the LED lights at the front and rear shines in a more modern interpretation with three ‘lighting blocks.’ At the rear, the New Mokka features body colours skid plates and new HD Rear-view camera.
Other changes include a redesigned front bumper to improve aerodynamics and a black design line running from the bonnet to the rear above the side windows. On the Mokka GS upwards, black cladding at the front, rear and wheel arches also convey sporty elegance. A high-gloss black trim strip running across the lower door surfaces at the rear reflects the window design line in the side moulding and emphasises the stylish appearance. In addition, the New Mokka completely dispenses with chrome applications on the exterior.
A new simplified steering wheel, high-end switch gear, and more elegant centre console add to the subtly enhanced interior. A new 10-inch digital instrument display and 10-inch touchscreen now come as standard. Ultimate models feature an upgraded navigation system including EV routing and ChatGPT integration.
For their New Mokka, customers can choose from a range of striking new colours – including Tropical Green, Colibri Blue and Graphic Grey.
Design models come with 17-inch diamond-cut bi-colour alloy wheels as standard, whilst GS and Ultimate models feature 18-inch diamond-cut bi-colour alloy wheels on petrol and hybrid variants. Electric variants feature their own aerodynamic 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel design. GS and Ultimate also benefit from a contrasting black roof with front and rear bumpers and spoilers in high gloss black.
Interior
Inside, the New Mokka features an enhanced design, housed within a detoxed cabin.
A driver-oriented 10-inch centrally mounted infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto sits in the centre of the dashboard. Ahead of the driver is a fully digital 10-inch cluster that provides essential information, creating an elegant, high-tech environment. Ultimate models come complete with inbuilt navigation and wireless smartphone charging. Frequently used settings such as climate control can also be operated intuitively using physical buttons.
All models benefit from natural voice recognition which provides a quick and hands-free way to control key vehicle functions for an added level of safety, activated by saying “Hey Vauxhall!” The new three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel inspired by the ‘Compass’ design principle completes the interior upgrades.
Vauxhall’s ergonomic seats also ensure the highest levels of comfort, certified by AGR (the German “Campaign for Healthier Backs”). On Ultimate models, they introduce driver seat lumbar support and massage function, to ensure outstanding comfort even during long journeys. The seat fabric is made from 100% recycled materials on all models.
Powertrains
New Mokka comes with a revised powertrain line-up, including the fully electric Mokka Electric, now available exclusively with a 54kWh battery and 156PS electric motor. This enables the Mokka Electric to travel up to 250 miles on a single charge (WLTP), with 0-62mph taking 9 seconds, with a top speed of 93mph. With 260Nm of torque, the Mokka Electric provides quick acceleration from a standing start and plenty of driving pleasure.
New Mokka Hybrid combines a 136hp 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor and 48-volt technology to deliver outstanding efficiency and performance. Paired with a new six-speed dual-clutch transmission, it is capable of up to 58.8 mpg (WLTP), emits as little as 108g/km of CO2 and is capable of 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds, with a top speed of 129mph.
Vauxhall has simplified the petrol engine line-up for New Mokka. The 100PS version of the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine is no longer available, with customers instead able to choose the more powerful 136PS iteration of this engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, capable of 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds, with a top speed of129mph. A 130PS version is also available with an eight-speed automatic transmission, capable of 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds, with a top speed of 126mph.
New Mokka is also available with an extensive array of driver assistance systems. Among the features included as standard are Cruise Control with intelligent speed limiter, Extended traffic sign recognition, Lane Keep Assist and In Crash Braking, a system designed to reduce the chance of a secondary collision in case of an accident and enhanced automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

Pricing
Vauxhall has introduced revised pricing for the New Mokka, with savings across most of the line-up. Design trim is the entry point to the New Mokka range and is available on the Mokka Electric with the larger 54kWh battery for the first time, priced from £33,245. The Mokka Electric is also available in GS trim from £35,095 (a saving of £4,640) and Ultimate trim from £38,095 (a saving of £3,950). Customers can also enjoy savings of up to £3,250 on Hybrid variants.
Like all Vauxhall electric vehicles, New Mokka Electric also benefits from the brand’s Plug & Go offer, powered by Free2move Charge, which includes access to a variety of charging solutions to help make electric mobility even easier.
To simplify home charging, Vauxhall is offering a £500 contribution towards an Octopus Energy Ohme Pro wallbox and installation for customers who buy online. Thanks to Vauxhall’s partnership with Tesco, customers also have the option to choose £500 free charging credit at stores across the country, in lieu of the wallbox contribution. On top of this, retail customers can collect 50,000 Tesco Clubcard points when they purchase a new car through a participating Vauxhall retailer.
To make public charging easier, all new Vauxhall electric vehicle customers receive an Octopus Electroverse card, giving access to more than 850,000 public chargers across the UK and Europe. In lieu of the wallbox contribution or £500 towards charging at Tesco stores, customers can choose a £500 credit with Octopus Electroverse through Plug & Go.
For added peace of mind, Plug & Go includes a battery warranty for eight years/100,000 miles and three years of roadside assistance as standard.
